INTRODUCTION

The ever increasing demand of IT professionals is undenied fact. It has been older days when computer education was limited to privileged class. Now computers are one of the basic necessities of the life and the persons having know-how of computers may be only called literate.

The World Group foreseeing the traffic power of micro giant established "The Computer World" an institute of Programming and Data Processing in 1986. For the last 15 years this institute has been playing a major role in catering the need of IT professionals in the city. The institute has produced 1000s of computer professionals who are serving the industry with command and authority.

COMPUTER EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS :
Another positive step to promote Computer Literacy was taken by World Group in 1990 when we introduced computers at school levels and our students are being benefited from this facility since last 12 years which puts us among pioneers of introducing computers at Primary Level.

EVOLUTION OF I.T. COLLEGE :
Realizing the necessity to fill the gap between school education and professional education especially keeping in mind the dreath of good college offering Computer and Business Education, the society decided to establish "The Computer World College of Information Technology".
The college is a new millennium gift to community from "World Group".

AFFILIATIONS AND COURSES OFFERED :
"The Computer World" is registered with Sindh Board of Technical Education S.B.T.E and offers all the I.T. based courses of S.B.T.E. It also offers two years program of D.B.A. which is equivalent to Intermediate.

"The Computer World" is an authorized training partner of Skill Development Council SDC and offers their Diploma, Certificate and Short Courses.

"The Computer World College of Information Technology", registered with Directorate of College Education and recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi offers Intermediate Computer Science and Intermediate Commerce.

We also have the honor of conducting courses on behalf of Ministry of Science and Technology. Further institute offers various short courses eg, JAVA, MS Office, C++, Visual Basic, Oracle 8i etc.
